Traits need to be modified to handle the new resource system. I can do a lot of that myself, but you should all pitch in with ideas.

Might I also add that War Ravaged Nation imposes far, far less of a con than any other Weakness trait? Either the percentage increase in construct costs needs to go way up or another aspect needs to be added to the weakness. On that same note, Multi-Ethnic Friction seems a bit harsh compared to the others, though not as much harsher as War Ravaged is weaker.

Are we getting 1 IP = 1 Million or is it .. wtf?

Base Manpower should be 15 per 1 Million.

Fascism should be +3 Manpower per 1 Million

Conscript Army should be +5 Manpower per 1 Million

Democracy should be -2 Manpower per 1 Million + subsequent equal bonus.

Manpower Growth should be .. Ionno.

IP generation needs to be changed. Nations will be sitting around with steel/oil and no cash to build shit.

RAWR! Enough changes! The IP system is fine the way I see it, and steel and oil can always be used for trade to get IP if you really need more. Plus, steel and oil income is pretty slow anyway, so I doubt we'll be sitting around with just tons of it to play around with.

As for ideologies, I don't have a major problem with the way they are already. After all, what you're suggesting would essentially just make them Traits, no fundamentally different from things like Conscript Army and Civil Liberties. Having them center on constructs and security gives them a unique function that no other category fills.

Well, I could jack up the price of how much IP population produces / the amount of cash each region produces. But after that lets stop nitpicking, I think we're good to go. The system isn't going to be perfect that's why things change in game and we'll do it as needed. But right now the foundations are in place, let's play. It's been a month.

I still see the original map in the mechanics... is that the map we are useing? None of the contanents are named on the map and neither are any of the player's nations... If you want to start plaing I think the map is a little important.

So, does it say somewhere what the ratio from pop to manpower is? I didn't see it in the mechanics anywhere.

Yeah. Modified unit prices as well (mainly lowered specialist prices), and added more information to the rules. The only thing we don't have is static resources. And the weaknesses still need a little more balance.

Okay, made some changes to the amount of IP that regions generate. Go check it out under the Mechanics page, they will now produce more IP. In addition, 1 million citizens will now generate 2 IP. This will help out smaller countries that can't rely on regions. So go put the final touches on your apps and get them in.

ok quick question is Military Doctrine a trait or something separate cause as it is shown and with all our previous discussion its kind of ambiguous

I dislike this and think doctrines should be sperate from traits they give your nation some extra flair and imply what your people are good at.

Hmmm...I like the idea of Doctrine as separate, but for that to work New Army needs to be a doctrine, or else it undermines Doctrine effectiveness, and more Military Traits need to be added.

On another note, what would you guys think of allowing the establishment of a number of new cities limited by population and regions? I think that would allow for a nice new way to invest industry, as well as a way to split regions in two in certain political situations.
